Caroline believes that giving back is an essential part of life and that being of service is one of the most rewarding endeavors. Caroline has helped raise over a million dollars for the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.

 

For six years, Caroline was a member of the Board of Directors of Pathways Bermuda, helping people who suffer from addiction. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Concussion Legacy Foundation of Canada. She is also an official UN Women delegate for the Commission on the Status of Women.

Caroline has founded the JN Desmarais Foundation, a charitable foundation named after her younger brother who is mentally handicapped.

 

The Foundation seeks to ‘Create a Better Future’ by supporting charities that help women, children and the developmentally disabled. A percentage of all of Caroline’s for profit work goes towards her foundation.
